<<<<<<< Jamrock >>>>>>>
This Spring I was finally able to return to my beloved Jamaica for the first time since the start of the pandemic. It had been four long years, and I was beyond ready to jump back into my sweet island vibes. Packing for Jamrock is a joy because, as I always mention, it is the place where my style is truly rooted. For this return, my suitcase was filled with the cues that have informed my aesthetics from the moment I could see clearly; vibrant color, bold prints, clashing motifs and sparkling, intricately woven textiles. Here are seven looks that helped me fall right back into the electric rhythm of my beautiful country.

When it comes to dressing up, the one thing Jamiacans have been known to do is embrace anything resembling passementerie and over the top embellishment. Feathers, ruffles and fringes galore, sweet Jamaica how I love you so.
